Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Eisen Cohen, Law Office & Notary ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have.

Who we are

Eisen Cohen Law Office & Notary, 19 King David St, Jerusalem, Israel, is responsible for the information collected through this website. You can reach us at office@israellegals.com.

What we collect

Information you choose to give us when you contact us through the website form, by email or on WhatsApp: your name, email address, phone number, country of residence and the content of your message.

Basic technical information that our hosting provider records automatically for security and to keep the site running, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the visit.

We currently do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If we add them, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, to understand whether and how we can help you, to check for conflicts of interest before taking on a matter, to meet our legal and professional obligations and to keep the website secure.

For visitors in the UK and the EU, the legal bases are: taking steps at your request before entering into an engagement, our legitimate interests in running our practice, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where it is required.

You are not legally required to give us any information, but without it we cannot respond to your enquiry.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (such as email and website hosting), with WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to contact us there, with professionals involved in your transaction only on your instruction, and with authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process information outside Israel. We use providers that offer appropriate safeguards for your information.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted automatically. Client files are kept for the periods required by law and by the rules of the Israel Bar Association.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, in line with the Israeli Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 2017. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential documents through the website form.

Your rights

Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you may ask to see the information we hold about you and to correct or delete it. Visitors in the UK and the EU also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to complain to their data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at office@israellegals.com. We will reply within the time required by law.

Marketing

We will not send you newsletters or marketing messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them. You can withdraw that agreement at any time.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
